Where to Stay in Cannes for a Conference at the Palais des Festivals

For a conference or trade show at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, the right hotel is one that lets you walk there, reach the station without a taxi and drop back to your room during the day. Ours is at 12 rue Teisseire, in the town centre: 880 metres and a 12-minute walk from the Palais, and 420 metres and 6 minutes from Cannes train station. This guide answers the questions delegates ask before booking, with measured distances and the calendar of major trade shows in 2026 and 2027.

Which area should you choose to stay near the Palais des Festivals?
There are two serious options.
The Croisette, right next to the Palais, is home to the city’s big luxury hotels.
The town centre, between the station and rue d’Antibes, is where our hotel is.
From the centre, you reach the Palais in a ten to fifteen-minute walk, the station is within suitcase distance, and you dine in streets where people from Cannes actually live. We don’t claim to be on the Croisette: we are 12 minutes away. For many professionals who spend their days on their feet in the exhibition halls, that quarter-hour walk in the morning is rather good news.
How long does it take to walk from the hotel to the Palais?
It takes twelve minutes to cover 880 metres. The route goes through place Gambetta, rue Chabaud, rue Hoche, rue d’Antibes, rue des Belges and rue Bivouac Napoléon, then place du Général-de-Gaulle and the Croisette.
Here are the other distances measured from the hotel’s front door, calculated on OpenStreetMap:
Gambetta market: 90 metres, one minute
Cannes train station: 420 metres, six minutes
Palais des Festivals et des Congrès: 880 metres, twelve minutes
Forville market: 1.1 kilometres, fourteen minutes
Quai Laubeuf, where boats leave for the Lérins Islands: 1.4 kilometres, nineteen minutes

How do you get to Cannes for a conference: train, car or plane?
By train, it is the most convenient option: from Cannes train station, you reach the hotel in a six-minute walk. The Palais itself says it is about a five-minute walk from the station.
By car, the simplest is to leave your vehicle for the whole show. We offer a deal with the EFFIA car park at the station, 8 place de la Gare, open 7 days a week: 15 euros for one day, 25 euros for two days, 44 euros for three days. Full conditions are on our offers and services page.
By plane, Nice Côte d’Azur airport is 27 kilometres from the Palais.
Hotel room or studio: which is best for a multi-day trade show?
For one or two days, a room is enough. Our rooms range from the 11 m² comfort double to the 20 m² family room, including the 13.5 m² superior room with balcony and the 15 m² triple. All are air-conditioned, with free Wi-Fi and a fridge.
For more than three nights, or if you are travelling as a team, take a look at our studios on rue Chabaud, a few dozen metres from the hotel. They measure 18 and 20 m², with a fully equipped kitchen and a double bed. The two-bedroom apartment can house several colleagues together, with a living room to prepare the next day’s meetings.
