The 2022 Film Festival
For 75 years, the world-famous Film Festival has always been talked about.
For 12 days, thousands of celebrities are walking on the famous Red Carpet.
This event, which features the seventh art, is one of the most advertised in the world and
delights our guests, who chose the Hotel des Congrès et Festivals to attend the festival.

The beautiful city of Cannes welcomes every year thousands of festival visitors who come to discover the films put in competition. This year, the Palais des Congrès was able to screen 47 films in competition:

A significant manifesto
If each year the poster proposed by the festival is increasingly surprising, this year is even
more so, indeed the official poster highlighted (displayed) a remarkable image of the cult
film «The Truman Show».
Beyond the competition
Despite the competition and the view under the spotlight, there is also an open air festival
for the public on the beach, if the idea of staying in a room for hours did not please you. It
shows each night the most famous films including the screening of "E.T", "The Truman
Show", "The Wolf Pact", etc.
Top Gun Maverick
This year, two films gained notoriety and despite their fame were out of competition. This
film is the new Top Gun on the occasion of the first screening of «Top Gun Maverick» film
by Joseph Cosinski on May 18th, 2022 was scheduled for May 25th, 2022. Tom Cruise
walked the red carpet for the first time in 30 years.
ELVIS
The second film which had success is ELVIS, a film presented by the Palais des Festivals but also out of competition. Directed by Baz Luhrmann, “ELVIS” was presented in a World
Premiere on May 25th, 2022. This biopic has generated a huge craze on the Croisette.
